Evaluation meeting in Uganda

The wonderful journey of our capacity building project “Youth Empowerment through Social Entrepreneurship “We Care”” has reached the final stage with the evaluation meeting in Kabale, Uganda!

Starting from Ohrid  with the kick-off meeting back in May, 2017 and implementing five productive mobility of youth workers events (3 study visits in Africa and 2 trainings in Europe) the last meeting was reserved for reflection, evaluation of our work and our activities. The evaluation meeting was held during 3-6 December, in Kabale Uganda!

At this, last event, the outcomes, impacts, results and follow-up activities were discussed by the project partners from Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, Austria, Macedonia and Slovakia.

During the implementation of the project we had chance to map and visit different initiatives in Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda, Slovakia, Austria and Macedonia.  Also, during this project more than 30 people from Africa and Europe learnt a number of the key competencies related to the social entrepreneurship by visiting two of our training’s.

We are amazed how much potential lies in social entrepreneurship in Africa and the creativity of the European initiatives and social enterprises, and how the social start ups are changing youth lifes and contribute towards shaping positive societies and communities.

After two years of cooperation, commitment, education, work, and enjoyment, the partner organizations (Mladiinfo International, Impact Hub Vienna, Mladiinfo Slovensko, Youth Volunteers for Community Development Kenya, Never Again Rwanda and Let is save Uganda)  concluded that all events have been successfully implemented within the project “Youth Empowerment through Social Entrepreneurship “We Care”.

Thank you and congrats to all partners and people who participated in this project!
